Cathy has worked as an Executive Assistant for over 17 years; she is a lifelong dog lover and was thrilled to combine these two when she started working at Dogs for the Deaf 2 years ago.

Dogs for the Deaf has been rescuing dogs from animal shelters and professionally training them to help people and enhance their lives while maintaining a lifelong commitment to those dogs and people since 1977. The dogs rescued are brought to our facility to receive complete healthcare, training, and skills necessary to become a Hearing Dog, Program Assistance Dog, or Career Change Dog. No dogs are ever returned to shelters..
