Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position Market Development Manager – Government Market. The location for this position is negotiable. The Market Development Manager (MDM) of the Government Market provides business development and client account management leadership for Ulteig’s Government Market. Along with the market development team, this position will be the face of Ulteig in the industry, working to understand client needs and deliver solutions that uniquely meet those needs. As an MDM, you will focus on leading our market development team consisting of professionals from multiple business units, including business development support staff and account managers, developing strong strategic client relationships, and pursuing strategic opportunities. The MDM of the Government Market is a self-starting professional engineer or government affairs expert with demonstrated experience in sales leadership and government relations, economic development and consulting engineering.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics or related field is required, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales/business development, client management, or engineering in the government market, specifically state and local. Strong reputation in the state and local government market, and solid working relationships with clients. Proven experience working with clients and business development teams to scope and sell opportunities.
